Our Summer Passport is back for a third season, and we’re so excited to share this summer’s list with you! The Summer Passport is inspired by summer reading programs, but instead include a variety of great activities for kids of all ages, the idea is to give kids and parents some inspiration (and motivation!) for a summer of screen-free fun!
How to participate:
Pick up your free passport at our Yarmouth, Bath or Freeport store.
Kids complete 12/15 activities on our list; writing or drawing what they did for each activity on a page of the passport.
Once complete, kids return their passports to Island Treasure Toys Freeport, Yarmouth or Bath and we give them a $5 coupon to spend on anything in our stores, plus coupons for a free ice cream and candy from our local partners!

Stamp those Passports!
Kids can get their passports stamped (very official!) at all 4 Island Treasure Toys locations and at Maine Maritime Museum in Bath, and the Wilbur’s of Maine Chocolate Factory in Freeport. If they collect at least 4 different stamps by the end of the summer they will get an extra prize from us!
Make a Marble Run with Noodles:
Try this idea from Happy Toddler Playtime and make a fabulous marble run of pool noodles!
Recycled materials like paper towel and toilet paper tubes make great, inexpensive marble runs too!
Resources for Grilling with Kids:
Parent supervision is definitely required for this task, but kids can get involved safely too! Try grilling fruit or veggie kebabs and having your crew stack their favorites on bamboo skewers, or just choose their ingredients and having a parent help stack if too little. Or, make a grilled pizza topping station. Quesadillas are a fun option too. The idea is to have some fun cooking together as a family, however works best for your crew!
